Glomar Minerals was founded in 2025 and acquired UKSR the same year. Glomar Minerals stands on the shoulder of the work done by the previous owners of UKSR – Lockheed Martin and Loke Marine Minerals. Glomar Minerals holds two exploration licences for mineral-rich polymetallic nodules in the Clarion Clipperton Zone of the Pacific Ocean through its subsidiary, UKSR. This area lies in international waters and thereby under administration of the United Nation body International Seabed Authority (ISA). In addition, Glomar Minerals is actively pursuing licences in the Norwegian Exclusive Economic Zone.
Glomar Mineral’s Board and Management are both composed of highly experienced personnel, with proven track records from executive positions in the energy industry.
