Glomar Minerals holds two exploration licences for mineral-rich polymetallic nodules in the Clarion Clipperton Zone of the Pacific Ocean through its subsidiary, UKSR. This area lies in international waters and thereby under administration of the United Nation body International Seabed Authority (ISA).
Glomar Minerals was founded in 2025 and acquired UKSR the same year. Glomar Minerals stands on the shoulder of the work done by the previous owners of UKSR—Lockheed Martin and Loke Marine Minerals.
